New Notes

To add a new note, click the +
button and select the Note
type.
New Note will create a new Markdown note, our default note type.
New Folder will create a new folder to organize notes.
Add PDF will copy any PDF to the project notes and catalog it as-is. This button will bring up a file-picking dialogue that asks you to select a PDF on your computer.
Add Link allows you to catalog any web link in the same system as the rest of our note types.
The Menu

- Back - This is functionally the same as a "back" button in a web browser (which is what this is behind the hood).
- Refresh - This is the same as "refresh" in a web browser. It refreshes the Note if you want to check for a revision made by someone else.
- This is the Pop Out Note button. Very helpful for keeping small notes open while you work on a task, this button will "pop out" the Note into a secondary window.
- Edit - This will open the Note in edit mode.
- Share - This opens a context menu with different options for exporting and sharing the Note.
- Delete - This button will delete the Note permanently.
Editing Notes
To edit a Note, click on the
pencil icon
above it.

Pressing this icon will open the Note in edit mode and allow you to alter it. It will limit the top menu to two functions:
Close - closes the Note without saving.
Save - saves the Note. (Saving is a manual process; don't forget to save!)
Editing Basics

Hovering next to each selected line in a Note is an interface with a plus sign and a grab handle. If you click the +
, a menu will open up with options to select formats and add special items (tables, blockquotes, links, etc.) The grab tool allows you to select the block you are editing and move it.

You can also access the menu by simply typing /
and then following it up with a word to filter it (think Obsidian style).
Image basics
There are a few ways to import images.

One way is to use the menu and upload an image from your computer.

You can also drag in an image from Windows Explorer or paste it from your clipboard.
Sharing options

In this flyout context menu, you can copy links to a Note or export to various formats. Exporting to PDF
or HTML
will export single HTML
pages or PDFs
to your Desktop. Exporting to Web
will share this Note online in a password-protected location.

When you export, it will provide you with options to copy paths or open the exported file.
Export to Web

Notes exported to Web will appear like this, with a sidebar showing all related project notes and a few different ways to navigate the project structure online. All Project Notes are behind a password-required login, while Docs are publicly available.

Two buttons help with managing web-shared Notes. Be careful with these!
The blue cloud icon will delete and replace every Note shared online from this project. It's a good way to force a complete update.
The red trash can will remove the project online.
Pop out notes

- The popout note window will open the Note in a new dedicated window.
- In that dedicated Note preview window, there is the option to Pin the window to the top of the screen. This button will force the popped-out Note to stay on top of other apps.
